Merryn makes news in USA on FoxSports

Merryn’s dad has been a fan of the Chicago Bears since the 80s. Through her dad Merryn has become a little bear. A picture of her in a Chicago Bears jersey was broadcast late last year during a game on UK TV station Channel 4. The tweeting of this picture had lead to a twitter following among some Bears fans. Merryn meets Ger Lyons and Merryn Moo

A few weeks ago a simple tweet from a good friend of ours to Irish race horse trainer Ger Lyons led to a horse being named Merryn Moo. This week we got the opportunity to visit Glenburnie Stables and to meet Ger his wife Lynne and of course Merryn Moo herself. Love/Hate’s Fran, Colin Farrell and Katie Taylor rally support for Merryn

 A LITTLE GIRL in Dublin who has been diagnosed with a rare form of children’s cancer is getting support from some of Ireland’s best known actors and sportspeople. Colin Farrell, Peter Coogan and Katie Taylor have all wished Merryn Lacy well and donated prizes that are up for auction to raise funds for Merryn. At the end of July, Merryn and her family were in London for a few days visiting friends. Katie Taylor gifts Olympic torch to aid Merryn

Published in the Bray People 16 DECEMBER 2013 OLYMPIC boxing champ Katie Taylor has donated her gold torch from the London 2012 relay to raise money for a girl suffering from cancer. The gold medal-winner’s mum presented the torch from the Olympic Torch Relay to help with fundraising for Merryn Lacy. Merryn (4) suffers from stage four neuroblastoma and her family hope that she can receive vital treatment in the USA.
